The towel burns between some of the workers of the regional hospital center of Kolda and the Director. The latter was declared this Monday morning persona non grata by angry trade unionists who closed the gate tightly to deny him access to his service. They intend to demand his departure from this hospital. Because, they say, “this director is unable to solve the problems” with which this public health establishment is confronted.
When the police arrived, there was real electricity in the air. Eventually, they came back to better feelings to let the portal open. According to them, they just wanted to convey the message relating to the departure of director Djibril Yansané from the structure.
The latter, questioned on this affair, maintains that he has nothing to reproach himself with in relation to the management. However, he says, “the real problem with this hospital is that the allowances suffocate the structure. There is a cash flow problem”. Dr. Yansané took advantage of this interview to call on these workers to be patient. Because he thinks he can settle the indemnities due as soon as the subsidy arrives.
At the latest news, work has finally resumed in this hospital to the delight of users who came en masse this Monday morning for treatment.
